Why is Durant ranked ahead of Carmelo?

He had a good scoring year and people say he is top 3 in the nba and the 2nd best forward.He is young, yes but he aslo plays on a young team which means he getting to do pretty much anything he wants.Why is he ranked over melo or even brandon roy
