Has anyone just woken up and found themselves to be different?

I can't quite say what it is. I think perhaps, while asleep and dreaming, I came to realizations and viewed things with new eyes; I saw certain things in a new light... similar to the idea in the movie Inception(an idea can be placed in a person's subconscious and they awaken almost a different person with different motives) I have an entirely new interest and want to completely immerse myself in it. I just find it so strange that I can't recall the genesis of it. But I feel exuberant. I'm not sure I've ever had such a desire to learn about something... I really feel at peace.
