Are most people aware of all the scientists throughout history, who also were Christians, prior to Evolution?

Sure, but's that's because they didn't have the evidence we have today. I am positive all those ancient scientists would not be christian today. Smart people advance with the times, the religious prefer to stay in the dark ages.
