Do any other women feel this way?
Psychological studies show that men are very visual creatures and care more about the physical attractiveness of their partners than women do (I'm not lumping ALL men into one group, I'm just stating a trend). Obviously, different men have differing opinions and standards of attractiveness, but I'm still discouraged. I am really insecure about the way that I look, especially my body, so much so that I refuse to take off my shirt or bra in front of anyone (and since guys love more than life, I don't think many men would tolerate this). I know there are women out there who are just as superficial as some men, but in general, women seem to be more understanding about the body issues of other women and don't seem to judge the physical appearance of other women as harshly as would men (in my experience, at least). My question is, are there any women out there who are turned off to dating men because they feel that men care too much about looks? This is not why I am biual; it just makes me want to date women more than men.
