Am I supposed to correct/redirect 5.5 week old puppies?

Get rid of the animals and raise your kids. It's funny that you are more concerned about the dogs' well being than your kids that are getting bit. There is a natural order of life and dogs are nowhere near the top, we are. Don't talk to the dogs - smack them and put them in a box on the curb take them to the pound. Some gullible sucker will pick them up.
