How to deal with anxiety when it makes you physically ill?

the trick is to prevent your anxiety from getting the better of you to begin with. an anxiety attack is caused by a release of adrenaline, adrenaline has a very short life in the system, fifteen minutes tops, but, if you respond to the symptoms of that release, you allow a cascade effect to occur. If you let those symptoms bother you, then you trigger the fear response and even more adrenaline is released and so on and so on. What you need to do is first recognize the early symptoms of anxiety, then RELAX, breathe SLOWLY and deeply and keep reminding yourself that this will p if you allow it to. I've gotten so good at doing this that I rarely get anxiety attacks anymore. So I know it works. My anxiety symptoms mimicked heart attack symptoms, so it wasn't easy to relax and allow the symptoms to p, but I persevered and it does really work. Good luck to you.
