Whatever happened to positive reinforcment in the media?

Maybe its not so positive because we as a society do more and more negative things. Murder, drugs, suicide, , , child abuse etc. These things are all more prevalent in todays society. Its hard to have anything positive to say on any one of these subjects. Plus the biggest thing in our media today is the War in Iraq. While some people still stand behind it, most people are against it, and lets face it, the Iraq war is much harder to think positively about than WWll. I mean the same thing happens day after day in Iraq... US soldiers arrive while others leave and car bombs and suicide bombs go off all the freakin time killing various amounts of people. Reporting the same thing has to get tiring to the media. And there is no progress being made on any side in Iraq what so ever.
