'BoyRacers'.......are we over-reacting?

'boyracers'/'car enthusiasts'/whatever or whatever term is used nowadays is basically referring to youth/young adults who modify their vehicles for looks, sounds, speed or all of the above. This particular group (which admittedly many people would cl me & my vehicle in) has actually been around for decades, my fathers often tells me about his old cortinas etc which he enjoyed pouring relentless hours into. Boyracers nowadays do many of the same customisation and have the same pride in their vehicles, and i believe they are being unfairly targeted in MOST cases. I am against street racing and other STUPID activities but I am also getting rather p**sed off for being pulled over constantly for havng a flashy car. is the government and police fair in their actions towards boyracers?
