How do you make a make-shift lock for a door out of household items only?

I want a lock for my bedroom door, but I don't have the money to buy a proper lock for my door and don't know how to install one. Is there a way which I can make a lock for my door out of house-hold items, that does not require anything more than glue/sticky tape as adhesives?
