Does the military have any policies on personnel who's an only child/son/daughter when it comes to combat?

I know that if you're in the military as well as your siblings and any of them got KIA, they'll grant you exemption from combat. Just wondering if they'll do the same for any soldier/sailor/marine/airman who's an only child, only son, or only daughter.
